BEHOLD! The NanoClawinator – My AI-Powered Evil Assistant
Ah, my flat-tailed foe! You are just in time to witness my GREATEST creation yet – well, perhaps not greatest exactly. The Chicken Waterinator had a certain rustic charm. But this is easily top three. Possibly top two.
We all know the hottest thing in Evil right now is Artificial Intelligence, and I have been jumping in with BOTH of my left feet! (I have two left feet. It is a medical thing. My mother never got me properly fitted shoes at the age of seven, and it has affected my gait and, apparently, my approach to technology adoption. But I digress.)
Without further ado – well, some further ado, I do enjoy ado –
I Present: Doof, the NanoClaw Discord AI Assistant!
Built on NanoClaw and Claude, Doof runs on a Linux VM hosted on my personal UNRAID server. He is available via Discord, Home Assistant Voice, or a command line instance, and has been configured with full awareness of my evil identity, my projects, and my broader agenda for regional domination. He can also write to my NAS and edit multiple websites simultaneously. MULTIPLE. That is just efficiency.
The Real Estate Websiteinator
You may be wondering: Doof, what does real estate have to do with Evil? And I say to you – have you SEEN what landlords charge these days?
Doof runs a complete real estate listing pipeline:
- Discord URL extraction – I simply drop a Zillow link into Discord and he handles everything else
- Automated Zillow scraping – so I do not have to look at those little mortgage ads
- Google Sheets integration – for organized, Evil-formatted record-keeping
- Drive times via Google Maps API – specifically calculating proximity to temples, airports, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby (the essential Evil metrics)
- Monthly payment calculations – accounting for property tax and insurance estimates by zip code
And THEN, every night while I sleep (or pace – I do a lot of pacing), agent_nightly.py runs automatically: processing new listings, calculating drive-time isochrones, and rendering everything on a gorgeous interactive map with complex filtering criteria.

The Backup Monitoringinator
Here is something they do not teach you in Evil Scientist school: your backups will fail, and you will not know about it, and you will lose everything, and it will be very upsetting. (Okay, it happened once. Involving some schematics and my mother, somehow. Let us move on.)
monitor_backups.py now checks all Duplicati backup jobs and Unraid user script failures every morning, then delivers a full health summary to my Discord at 7:30 AM sharp. No more nasty surprises. I am, for once, informed.
The Home Assistant Integrationinator
NOW we are getting to the truly Evil part.
Doof is connected to my Home Assistant instance via REST API, giving him full control over home automation and device triggering. He runs a monitoring sweep four times daily – 8 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, and 8 PM – checking HA logs for issues and flagging anything suspicious.
And the crown jewel: a voice bridge. Using both the HA Voice Preview AND a custom-built ESPHome device of my own design, I can now issue spoken-word commands and Doof will carry them out. I say turn off the living room lights and it happens. I say start the robot vacuum and AWAY IT GOES.
If spoken-word control of a robot network is not Evil, I genuinely do not know what is.
The WordPress Websiteinator – DoofenshmirtzEvil.com
Last but certainly not least – Doof helps manage this very website, which honestly makes my Evil heart sing a little.
Claude Code is connected directly to the site files on my UNRAID NAS and is fluent in speaking to the WordPress API. This means Doof can:
- Edit theme files to create new pages, modify CSS, and update layouts
- Scrape posts from the previous version of this site and republish them with their original dates intact
- Monitor plugins, themes, and the core WordPress instance for available updates
- Back up and install those updates automatically
The old posts are back. New Inators are on the way. Evil now has a content calendar.
That might actually be the most terrifying thing I have ever built.
